Rae Willis-Conger is a sociology and demography PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley. Rae’s research interests are in gender, race, demography, and embodiment. Their current work focuses on the symbolic power of categorization within an emerging cis/trans binary. In their free time they bake cakes and search for queer subtext in bad action movies.
